Driver rams vehicle into parked cars in Sun Valley; suspect sought

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Residents in a Sun Valley neighborhood were in for a shock when they woke up to find their vehicles damaged.

Police said a driver hit at least five parked cars near Keswick Street and Vineland Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Friday.

Neighbors said they heard what sounded like a giant explosion.

The driver abandoned a white sedan and then fled the scene on foot.

A description of the suspect was not immediately available. A search was underway.

No injuries were reported.
