Person carjacked, shot in Little Armenia

LITTLE ARMENIA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect who carjacked and shot a person in Little Armenia early Thursday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., the victim was carjacked and shot near the 99 Cent Store on Sunset and Hobart boulevards. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.

Los Angeles police officers from the Hollywood division were investigating the incident. A suspect description was not released.

No further information was immediately available.
