Artists' flea market opens in DTLA Arts District
A new flea market held its grand opening in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles on Friday, featuring creative work made by local artists.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A new flea market held its grand opening in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles on Friday, featuring creative work made by local artists.

Whether it's vintage clothes or handcrafted jewelry or even original pieces from acclaimed painters, it's now available under one roof inside the Arts District Flea.

Dozens of vendors sell their wares inside a red-brick building that dates back to the turn of the century.

The Arts District Flea is a permanent indoor market for artists.

Visitors to this unique space in the heart of L.A.'s Arts District say it's an idea that's long overdue.

Friday night will see the grand opening of a permanent art gallery inside the market.

The Arts District Flea is located at 453 Colyton Street, and is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday night's grand opening will stay open until 10 p.m.
