Fatal big rig crash shuts down 710 North in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A fatal accident involving a big rig shut down northbound lanes of the 710 Freeway in Long Beach Monday morning.

An overturned big rig was reported just after 9 a.m. Northbound lanes were closed at Willow Street, and on-ramps to the 710 North were also closed.

The cause of the accident has not been determined. One lane and the center divider reopened just before 2 p.m.
