West Hollywood parking prices increase

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Parking prices have risen once again in West Hollywood.

It will now cost $2 per hour, which is an increase of 50 cents per hour.

The city says the bump will fund enhanced sidewalk cleaning, trash pickup and shopping cart removal while some of the other money will go towards security services such as extra bike patrols.

However, parking meter fees will be waived for the Fourth of July holiday on Wednesday.
