TUSTIN, Calif. (KABC) -- Tustin police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect who followed a woman home from a store and tried to sexually assault her.

The incident happened on Feb. 24.

"The suspect approaches her from behind, grabs her from the waist and a struggle ensues," said Tustin Police Department Lt. Robert Wright.

Police say the man ran away after the victim fought him off. She told officers she just got back from shopping at a Ralphs grocery store.

When police looked at surveillance video from the store at 13321 Jamboree Rd., they saw their suspect.

Police say the man followed her to the parking lot, then he got into a silver Scion two-door coupe and followed her home.

The suspect was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin build and curly or very short brown hair.

Anyone with information is urged to call Tustin police at (714) 573-3250.
