RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- By lunchtime, several inches of snow had already fallen in Running Springs in what could turn out to be the biggest snowstorm of the season.
Highway 330 was not too bad - at least not yet. Snow came down to about the 3,500-foot level.
We came across a truck that lost it in one of the turns. But Caltrans snowplows were making the rounds, keeping the roads as clear of snow as possible.
Up at Snow Valley, the powder was piling up quickly.
