Pedestrian killed in Westwood hit-and-run

WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities investigated a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead in Westwood Saturday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. in the 10200 block of Sunset Boulevard. A pedestrian was struck and killed. The driver fled the scene.

No description of the vehicle or driver was provided.

The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation is ongoing.
