The incident took place around 8 a.m. near Buena Vista and Lakeview avenues. An investigation was underway.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department 73-year-old Jack Horn Jr., of Yorba Linda, was taken into custody in connection with the shooting. A handgun was recovered at the scene.

The victim was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was not known.
