Yountville in Napa Valley provides travelers with activities galore

YOUNTVILLE, Calif. -- Located in the heart of the Napa Valley, the charming town's central location makes it the perfect starting point for an adventure through wine country.

"We are incredibly walkable," explained Whitney Diver McEvoy, the President & CEO of the Yountville Chamber of Commerce. "We're famous for our culinary excellence here in town. We have a bunch of different tasting rooms to explore. Of course, we have art and culture here as well, including the Napa Valley Museum, and we have beautiful accommodations to accommodate anybody who's walked who's coming to town."

"Ballooning is an amazing, magical thing to do, and it is a bucket list item for many. Why not do it in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and that would be obviously here, the Napa Valley," described Pete Brunner, the Pilot of Napa Valley Aloft. "Flying over vineyards, you're learning about the region in the area. The pilots are rather informative and give you a good understanding of how the balloon works as well as the region and its history and how it's contributed to the International Wine scene. So, it's a comprehensive experience."

You can take in history and culture at The Napa Valley Museum. The "Tiki Dream" exhibit highlights the global art and design movement of tiki lounges and restaurants.

In addition, take a stroll along the Yountville Art Walk and Audio Tour featuring over 35 rotating outdoor sculptures from local and world renowned artists.

"We have a lot of visitors that come to the Welcome Center that are looking to do other things and just taste wine and so that diversity of experience is so important," said Diver McEvoy. "And we're so lucky to have the museum here in Yountville that offers that diversity of experience."
