Suspect still at large in laundry shooting

Suspect vehicle is a newer Ford Mustang
SAN DIEGO (CNS) A 19-year-old man from Oceanside was wounded in Friday's shooting shortly before 4 p.m. inside the Mission Coin Laundry at 3772 Mission Ave., Oceanside Police Department Lt. Fred Armijo said.

The injured man was airlifted to a trauma center and was expected to survive, Armijo said.

The shooter fled the scene after the incident. Witnesses described the suspect as a thin Latino man, about 5-feet 7-inches tall, dressed in dark clothing.

A vehicle possibly driven by the suspect from the scene was described as a newer model gray Ford Mustang, last seen traveling west on Los Arbolitos Boulevard, Armijo said.
