County to weigh in on state hospital

Changes were made to the hospital to save it from a state citation.

During a walk-through last month, state health inspectors found overcrowding and long patient delays at the hospital and threatened it with a state citation.

Since then, a physician assistant position has been added to assist 24 hours a day.

The county will now decide whether or not to take over funding for those changes.
