PALM DALE --An Inland Empire man in his mid 70s was arrested Wednesday, charged with robbing a bank at gunpoint.The suspect, 76-year-old Robert Reilly, was taken into custody at his home in Palm Desert. Reilly allegedly walked into a California Bank and Trust on Highway 111 and demanded cash from a teller.
He didn't get far. Riverside County Sheriff's deputies arrested Reilly at his home 20 minutes later.
No one was injured during the holdup.
