Water quality at SoCal beaches improve

The dry weather has produced little runoff, which is a significant cause of pollution.

Heal the Bay says 91 percent of California beaches had very good to excellent water quality.

Long Beach made a slight improvement but still ranks as the worst water quality in the state because the Los Angeles River flows into it.
