The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians will host its annual San Manuel Pow Wow, Oct. 10, 11 and 12 at California State University, San Bernardino on the Lower Athletic Fields. Spectators are invited to share in the pageantry and traditions that mark this celebration of dance, music and life. A free public event that begins each day with the grand entry, during which all of the dancers in full regalia demonstrate both competitive and exhibition dances, the Pow Wow promises to share all the best of Indian Country.
Please note: The Grand Entries provide the most visual interest for photographers. However, at certain points in the event an announcement may be made if it is not appropriate to take photographs.
The event will include San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (Host Tribe), native dancers, musicians, and artisans from throughout the United States and Canada.
