HPV drug passes two year safety check

Gardasil is used in a vaccine that protects against infection of HPV. The HPV virus causes cervical cancer and genital warts.

A recent study from Australia raised concerns the vaccine might cause rare but serious side effects, including allergic shock and damage to the nervous system.

But, the new U.S. report found no side effects linked to the vaccine.
