Stress at home may lead to obesity

A child's home environment may lead to obesity at a young age. A new study of Swedish families found that children living in high-stress environments were at risk for obesity twice as much as those living in low-stress environments.

The parents surveyed had life-changing events such as a death in the family or they lost their jobs.

Researchers say stress isn't the only factor that can cause your child to gain weight.

They say it's important to seek help if your home life becomes too overwhelming.
