LOS ANGELES, Calif. --U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was in Southern California Monday to check out security at three of the country's busiest entry points.She visited Los Angeles International Airport and the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The Department of Homeland Security says the tour was designed to help the secretary understand security measures and new technologies being implemented in the L.A. area.
She is also expected to meet with local congresswomen Jane Harman and Laura Richardson during her stay.
