L.A. union station celebrates 70th year

LOS ANGELES L.A. city officials joined with representatives of Amtrak onMonday morning to mark the occasion. They stood in front of the Art Deco landmark, known as America's last great railway station.

Union Station was built in 1939 to consolidate the passenger terminals of three different railways.

It was declared an historical monument in 1972.
