Spector moved to state prison facility

LOS ANGELES, Calif. He was transferred from a Los Angeles County jail to the /*North Kern State Prison*/ in Delano on Friday. At the facility, he'll be processed and evaluated before being sent to a final destination to serve out his sentence.

The 69-year-old was convicted in April of second-degree murder for the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson at his Alhambra mansion in 2003.

He's serving a sentence of 19 years to life.

Spector maintains he didn't killed the 40-year-old, and claims she shot herself. The two had met earlier that night at the /*House of Blues*/ in West Hollywood, where Clarkson had recently begun working as a VIP hostess.
