During the course of their adventure, the gang runs into a new character voiced by Simon Pegg, who most recently played "Scotty" in "Star Trek."
"I kind of figured I that hadn't done anything that my children could watch yet," said Pegg. "So I figured I'd do 'Ice Age,' which was a really... it was really fun joining that family."
"Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" is in theaters July 1.
On July 24, we'll see the 3-D theme continue with Disney's "G-Force," produced by action maestro Jerry Bruckheimer. The comedy-adventure tells us about a covert government program that trains animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly-trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws.
The voices for this tale include Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz and Tracy Morgan.
