LOS ANGELES The sequel, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" is the third installment of the popular franchise about prehistoric creatures and reunites the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah and John Leguizamo.

During the course of their adventure, the gang runs into a new character voiced by Simon Pegg, who most recently played "Scotty" in "Star Trek."

"I kind of figured I that hadn't done anything that my children could watch yet," said Pegg. "So I figured I'd do 'Ice Age,' which was a really... it was really fun joining that family."

"Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" is in theaters July 1.

On July 24, we'll see the 3-D theme continue with Disney's "G-Force," produced by action maestro Jerry Bruckheimer. The comedy-adventure tells us about a covert government program that trains animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly-trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws.

The voices for this tale include Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz and Tracy Morgan.
