Study: Green tea reduces cancer risk

LOS ANGELES Researchers in Japan examined more than 219,000 men and women who were at least 40 years old.

They found that the women who drank five or more cups of green tea daily reduced their risk of developing stomach cancer by about 20 percent.

They did not find such a link among the men.

Antioxidants naturally found in green tea are believed to protect against several forms of cancer.
