Police bust celebrity burglary ring

LOS ANGELES They also say a fifth suspect believed to be part of that ring was picked up by Las Vegas police and has been charged with possession of stolen property. Four of the five suspects are women.

Surveillance cameras captured images of two suspects wearing caps and masks outside Lohan's now former home. Nicholas Prugo, 18, was charged Wednesday in connection with the Lohan and Patridge break-in.

In July, burglars entered Orlando Bloom's Hollywood home and made off with close to a $500,000 worth of jewelry and cash. And reality TV star Audrina Patridge had designer jewelry, handbags, clothes and much more stolen from her home.

Paris Hilton's gated estate may have been one of the burglars' first targets. Last December, $2 million worth of jewelry was stolen from her home.

In all cases, the celebrities were not at home, and police believe the suspects knew the layout of the homes and where to find the valuables.

Authorities say the suspects being investigated as the "Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch" are two 18-year-old women, two 19-year-old women, and one 27-year-old man. Each is being held on $50,000 bail.
