DA's report clears police in shooting death

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. The report says police officers acted in a "justified manner."

Jackson was killed March 15, 2009.

Police got a call about a man exhibiting lewd, bizzare behavior in a park where police say Jackson refused to cooperate.

The report says Jackson was strenuously and physically combative throughout the incident. Officers used a taser, with little affect.

It took half a dozen officers to subdue him and Jackson later collapsed.

An autopsy showed a number of drugs in his system, including methamphetamine. The coroner's report calls the death an "accident."

The District Attorney report goes on to say that the amount and type of force used in dealing with Jackson cannot be said to be unreasonable or excessive.
