SIMI VALLEY, Calif. Police said a 19-year-old woman parked her car in front of a 7-Eleven store at 1840 Cochran Street at about 10:20 a.m. Sunday. They said she went inside, leaving her 10-month-old infant in the car. She told police she noticed the man getting into the car and rushed outside to confront him as he started backing out of the parking space.
The woman grabbed the car and was dragged a short distance before the man got out. He was last seen running toward a nearby grocery store.
Police said they launched an extensive search, but did not find him.
The suspect was described as a 40 to 50-year-old man with a dark complexion and short, salt and pepper hair. He's about 6 feet tall and 220 pounds. He was wearing a flannel shirt and jeans.
