THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. --
A Simi Valley man was arrested Monday, accused of robbing two banks in Thousand Oaks. Investigators believe he may also be linked to a bank robbery in Los Angeles County.Thousand Oaks police arrested Daniel Raaf, 24 at his Simi Valley home. He is suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank at 1769 East Avenida De Los Arboles on January 21. He is also suspected of robbing the First California Bank at 11 East Hillcrest Drive on Friday.
Police said information gathered during their investigation led them to suspect Raaf in the robberies. They obtained a search warrant for his home. Items discovered there linked him to the holdups.
Investigators say there is also evidence to possibly link Raaf to at least one bank robbery in Los Angeles County. The F.B.I. and the LAPD are investigating Raaf's possible involvement.
