Los Angeles Police are searching for a group of burglars who broke into West Adams High School and stole 23 computers valued at $34,000. The break-in occurred around 11 a.m. on March 15. Investigators say seven or eight suspects climbed over a wrought iron fence and scaled a 12-foot brick wall to enter the school grounds at 1500 West Washington Boulevard.

The suspects then pried open a window inside a classroom, cut security locks, and removed several desktop computers. About 30 minutes later, the burglars returned to the school and stole more computers.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call Olympic Division burglary detectives at (213) 382-9440. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to 1 -877-LAPD-24-7. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477.)
