Relatives identify the victim as Shovana Jones, who worked as a guard for /*Los Angeles County*/.
They said that Jones' 15-year-old son walked into the apartment and found his mother's body.
His 2-year-old brother was also inside the home, but he was not hurt.
Police say the husband, Dejames Henderson, opened fire on Jones during a /*domestic dispute*/.
"Shovana was strong, loving, always on top of it and did everything that she needed to take care of her kids," described Jones' relative, Keishawna Henderson.
Relatives are calling on the suspect to turn himself in. They say the couple had just been married in February.
