Officers got a tip that fireworks were being sold out of the storage unit. They staged an undercover sting operation and they witnessed an alleged illegal fireworks sale.
Ryan Castaneda, 26, and Earnest Sudberry, 37, both of Buena Park, were arrested. Sudberry was booked in the Buena Park City Jail on suspicion of selling illegal fireworks. Castaneda was cited for purchasing the illegal fireworks and released.
