The group says it's unfair to target advertising to kids and to put parents in the position of constantly trying to counteract their children's demands for the toys and the food that goes with them.
The group believes the toys violate consumer protection laws in California and at least three other states. It hopes the threat of a lawsuit will get the fast food chain to negotiate on the issue.
