Emma Thompson gets star on Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.

Her colleagues, /*Maggie Gyllenhaal*/ and /*Hugh Laurie*/, joined Thompson in speaking at the late-morning ceremony in front of the Pig 'n Whistle pub on Hollywood Boulevard.

The honor comes two weeks before her latest film is released, "Nanny McPhee Returns."

Thompson won a best actress Academy Award in 1992 for "Howard's End." She took home her second Oscar in 1996 for best adapted screenplay for "Sense and Sensibility."
