Chris Klein pleads no contest to DUI charge

LOS ANGELES Appearing in a Van Nuys court, the 31-year-old was sentenced to four years probation, four days already served in jail and 18 months in an alcohol program.

Klein, who had a 2005 misdemeanor DUI conviction from San Diego County, was arrested after officers saw his vehicle drifting across lanes on the freeway near Woodman Avenue.

He was released on $25,000 bail that evening.

Klein got his first big break in 1999's "Election" and is known as a former boyfriend of Katie Holmes.
