Lady Antebellum, Eminem lead AMA picks

LOS ANGELES Lady Antebellum is nominated for favorite band, duo or group in the pop/rock and country categories, along with favorite country album, favorite adult contemporary artist and the breakthrough artist award.

In addition to competing for best male pop/rock artist and pop/rock album, Eminem and Bieber were nominated for artist of the year, along with /*Lady Gaga*/, /*Katy Perry*/ and Ke$ha.

B.o.B, Bieber, Taio Cruz, Jason Derulo, Ke$ha, Lady Antebellum, Travie McCoy and Mike Posner all received nominations for breakthrough artist.

The announcement was made by singers Taio Cruz and Demi Lovato Tuesday morning.

The 38th annual AMA ceremony will be held Nov. 21 at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.

Winners will be determined by online voting. Fans can vote for the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award via T-Mobile text messaging, or at ama.abc.com.

The first round of voting began Tuesday and continues through Oct. 22, winnowing the list of nominees to four. Voting on the final four nominees will begin Oct. 25 and continue during the live telecast of the awards ceremony.
