LAUSD considering allowing ads on campuses

LOS ANGELES According to the Daily Breeze, the cash-strapped district will consider overturning a long-standing ban on corporate advertising.

The move could raise $18 million a year.

If officials approve the idea, select companies would be able to put logos on campus fixtures, like auditoriums and football fields.

Any sponsor would be screened carefully, so advertisements don't conflict with district policy.
