OC residents may not get mail due to rain

Some people in Orange County may not be getting mail on Wednesday due to the storm, according to the U.S. Postal Service.

The following areas will be impacted:

  • The Silverado Post Office 92676 is inaccessible. Mail for 568 P.O. box customers and 391 Rural Route customers will be available at the Orange Post Office, 1075 N. Tustin St., until 6 p.m.
  • The Trabuco Canyon Post Office 92678 is also inaccessible due to flooding and road closure. Mail for 800 P.O. box customers and 75 residents will be available at the Rancho Santa Margarita Carrier Annex, 29862 Avenida de Las Bandera until 6 p.m.
  • About 600 customers in the 92651 ZIP code in the downtown and canyon areas of Laguna Beach is inaccessible to postal carriers. Mail will be available at the South Laguna Carrier Annex, 22 Journey, Aliso Viejo, until 6 p.m.

Residents will be asked to present a photo ID to collect mail.
