Shops at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park opened at 7 a.m. and there were some diehard shoppers already looking for bargains.
A lot of the stores are offering 50 to 70 percent off deals.
Retailers are expecting a lot of shoppers to come and spend the rest of their Christmas money. They've had a really good year with retail sales and they're hoping that continue after the holidays.
Some people were at the mall to exchange unwanted /*Christmas*/ gifts while others were there just to buy gifts for themselves.
"50 percent off on all sale items, so I just wanted to wake up early and get cheap stuff," said one shopper.
