Dog saved from drain pipe after going missing

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. The family members ran to a nearby fire station for help. The firefighters were in the middle of dinner, but they jumped into action.

The 15-year-old dog, Casper, was way down in the pipe, so rescuers filled a fire hose with water and capped it to make it stiff.

Then they attached a stuffed animal to the end and used it to push Casper through the pipe to the bottom of a storm drain where a firefighter was waiting for him.

Casper was a little cold and a little wet, but otherwise, he was fine.
