Moreno Valley Fwy reopens after truck fire

MORENO VALLEY, Calif.

The 50-foot trailer caught fire at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.

It took five engine companies nearly an hour to get the fire under control. Both sides of the 60 were shut down for hours.

While the westbound lanes reopened before midnight, eastbound lanes were shut down until nearly 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in order for crews to clean up the mess.

No one was hurt in the fire and there was no word on what may have sparked it.
