Some parents are surprised, calling her a good girl. But others say they noticed a change in the girl.
"I guess I feel sorry for the girl. What makes a little girl at 12 years old think of things like that. Why do you, at 12 years-old, why do you, you know, a death list," said Billi Jo Varney. His daughter hung out with the girl until they noticed personality changes a year ago.
The seventh grader, who lives with her grandmother, was suspended for five days and charged with a misdemeanor. The superintendent has not decided if she'll be allowed to return to school.
