Sheriff's deputies said a gunman walked into Center Liquor on Iowa Avenue in Highgrove on Jan. 18 and demanded cash from a clerk.
After he got the money, the gunman shoved the woman to the floor and shot her in the leg. Her husband was shot in the stomach. Both survived and are recovering from their injuries.
The gunman, who remains at large, was described as 35 to 40 years old, bald, with a goatee.
Anyone with information was urged to call Riverside County sheriff's deputies.
