Danielle Deichman, 20, was arrested on suspicion of filing a false police report and resisting arrest. The Orange County Sheriff's Department said Deichman admitted she lied when confronted about inconsistencies in her story.
It's believed Deichman copied another woman's account of an attempted rape on Jan. 25 on Alicia Parkway near Aliso Hills Drive in Laguna Hills. Investigators say that woman's story is credible and are still looking for her attacker.
