The car shot through a parking structure, knocked down a fence and then slammed into the apartment.
The crash happened on the 200 block of South Azusa Avenue at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver took off, leaving the car behind.
Luckily, that apartment was vacant and no one was hurt, but firefighters did evacuate eight units of the complex.
