At about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, several residents of the group home located on the 100 block of Dos Caminos Avenue heard noises outside of their bedroom. They said it sounded as if someone was trying to enter through the window.
An adult staff member went outside to check on the noise and found Gabriel Sandoval outside. The staff member had one of the young residents dial 911.
Responding officers found two windows that had been tampered with. Also, they found a brick under one window, which appeared to be placed as an aid to step up and view into the window.
No one was injured in the incident. Sandoval was arrested and booked for prowling.
