Ex-cop pleads no contest to tracking ex on GPS

WESTMINSTER, Calif.

Aaron Paul Parsons, a former Costa Mesa police officer, entered the plea on Monday to unlawful use of an electronic device. The 31-year-old was ordered to contribute to the Victim Witness Emergency Fund.

Prosecutors say a GPS tracking device was attached to the car of a 32-year-old woman Parsons dated last year. She became suspicious when they ran into each other several times, and then found the device.
