In a statement released Thursday, the 68-year-old said she was on her way home and expressed appreciation for all the "loving messages" she had received.
Sheindlin was taken by ambulance from her show taping Wednesday to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. According to her spokesman Gary Rosen, she was feeling nauseated and had intestinal discomfort.
Sheindlin planned to return to work on her syndicated show, "Judge Judy," as scheduled on April 12.
