The stolen Mercedes was found in Van Nuys, but police are still looking for the men who took it.
The store owner said three armed men took him from his house to Van Nuys on Friday night. They drove him toward his jewelry store, but the suspects let him go and left after seeing police nearby on an unrelated call.
The vehicle was being dusted for fingerprints and being examined for clues.
