Investigators said the suspects invaded the jeweler's home Friday night. Two of them forced the jeweler to drive to his store in North Hollywood while the third suspect stayed behind with his wife.
The victims' daughter called police. The husband was later released in Van Nuys. No one was injured.
The suspects are described as three male Hispanics, between 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
