Andy Dick arrested in IE on drunk and disorderly charge

TEMECULA, Calif.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said the 45-year-old was arrested and booked for investigation of disorderly conduct involving drugs and alcohol at a Marie Callender's bar.

Deputies say dick got into an argument with an employee adding that he appeared to be drunk and was unable to care for his own safety.

"Prior to us arriving, he was disruptive in the restaurant and was heavily intoxicated," Sgt. Joe Borja said.

He was released after posting $500 bail. Deputies say dick was cooperative. He won't have to appear in court.

"We try to insure his safety and the safety of others, that he doesn't injure himself or others or anyone in the area," Borja said. "He's taken into custody for four to six hours, until he sobers up, and was then released."

Dick has a history of arrests. In 2008, authorities say Dick was at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Murrieta when he urinate in bushes and also tried to grab and pull the blouse off of a 17-year-old girl. He later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery.

Last year, he was charged with sexually abuse over allegations that he groped a bouncer at a West Virginia bar.
