Fiery crash leaves 3 injured in Newport Beach

Authorities said a fiery crash Saturday in Newport Beach left two adults and a child with injuries.

A fiery crash Saturday in Newport Beach left two adults and a child with injuries, authorities said.

Officials said the two-car collision happened about 8:20 p.m. at Dover Drive and Irvine Avenue in front of a city fire station.

One of the cars caught fire, but emergency crews were able to respond immediately due to the proximity.

The three people hurt sustained moderate injuries and were transported to the hospital.
