The first one took place near Bitterlake Street and Bauchard Court. Authorities arrived on scene around 10:15 p.m. and found a wounded man.
The man died on scene. Officials are searching for a motive.
The second shooting took place about 45 minutes later about a mile away. Officials say a man was hit in his side and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There were no witnesses and the victim apparently did not see the shooter. Investigators don't know if the shootings are related.
